When you say "demand power quickly", do you mean WOT (Wide Open Throttle)? Everything Bosch makes can go bad, but they usually don't "reset", you have to rebuy. Could be your TPS is bad/out of adjustment. It should click as soon as you crack the throttle. Hell, it could be you DC, TPS, Lambda, NPT II, EFI, VL, AFS, AAV, or a bad IEHFCHEU valve, ya never know.
