thought I would post an update to this problem.
I had put it in the to hard pile and just did not use the a/c. I have also had a broken seat switch that I replaced last weekend and it seems to have solved the problem with the a/c.
The old switch once removed and shaken had a few loose parts inside that I think where shorting out as the seats are on the same fuse as the a/c.
