Let me introduce myself first. My name is Andy and I've been a 914 owner for over 10 years. Recently I purchase a factory 914-6 for restoration that started the quest to imprint the VIN/Compliance decal that Bob Moglia produces for our cars. After many iterations I am please at the results and have been supplying them to the 914 group and with Bobs help now have the details to run them for the 911's.
The decals are $90.00 each with your VIN, production date and tamper cut circles like the original decals. If you have already purchase a decal from Bob subtract $10 and include it with your order form and supporting documents. Please insure the decal arrives without creases or bent corners as this may make the decal unusable. Below is a link to download the order form. On page two are photos of all versions of the decals and options needed to choose the correct decal for your model year. I also can reproduce the number 7 defect for pre- 75 cars if desired. see attached photo.
Included will be instructions for applying your decal. Your decal will have transfer tape to hold decal together and allow alignment during application.
