Hello, Skagit Valley native here. If you want to bypass the area there, Google Maps
HWY9, terminate in Sedro Woolley @ HWY20 (go east from there, Seattle folk) and begin in Arlington or Darrington. You can even get there if you go east after getting of I-5 at Lake McMurray Rd. (Exit 221, IIRC).
OK, here's a question - what is the overall route? I live in Pullman, and would be glad to meet up with folks.
