When I did my motor change I found my clutch in good condition,however the release fork bearing were gummed up,the thrust bearing I stripped down, cleaned and repacked the grease,came out spot on still good to this day.
If the bearing is dry and has no rough spots it can be recycled ,they are an expensive part afterall.
