I'm not sre what happened there, could you elaborate a bit?

Did you get the selenoid "arm" attached properly to the lever that pull sthe starter gear forward? You have to hook the end of the selenoid (where the spring is) around that lever. Also, make sure you hooked up the two wires on the selenoid correctly.

If you are getting a click, your selenoid is most likely actuating, but not pulling the starter forward into "Start" position.
