Usually you get a wiring harness with the new radio. Yes, some cutting and splicing will need to be done. I cut and trim wires, slip on the right size shrink tubing, solder the connection and slide tubing over joint and heat shrink. You may need to run new speaker wires for 4 ch. configuration + sub woofer.
