I bought one of these and installed it with the stock cans. The Danmoto is good quality stainless with machine welds, but the wall thickness is thinner than I expected.
The fit was good, but two things to note.
1. The strange tab on the front end is supposed to (I believe) connect to the original plate that attaches the cat to the engine. I didn't know this until after I took the pipe off, so I never connected it in this way. Not connecting it to anything except the exhaust flanges allows for some movement/looseness due to lack of support.
2. The aft end of the Danmoto that slips into the front end of the cans is not a tight fit. The outside diameter of the Danmoto pipe is smaller than the the inside diameter of the end of the mufflers. I wasn't able to tighten the clamp enough to take up the difference. I thought about having the end of the Danmoto pipe expanded by a shop, but never got around to it. The result was an obvious exhaust leak at the joint in the form of soot.
Having said all that, I ran the pipe for about 300 miles, and the combination ran fine and sounded good (I'm one of those who likes a good throaty sound without being loud). If you expand the aft end of the Danmoto pipe and connect it to the original plate in front, it should be a good fit and operate well.
