Last month a similar '68 912 with a 2.7l swap sold for over $20k. This car is a little rougher and has the wrong rear end on it, but it's upside is it has what appears to be a hot rod 3.0l engine that easily cost $10K to put together. I'd say the asking price is in the right ball park.
