Last month a similar '68 912 with a 2.7l swap sold for over $20k. This car is a little rougher and has the wrong rear end on it, but it's upside is it has what appears to be a hot rod 3.0l engine that easily cost $10K to put together. I'd say the asking price is in the right ball park.

I'm thinking somewhere in the middle for this one: $15-16K. You're going to spend some money getting rid of the tail and rear bumpers for these are now very very pricey.
And then what do you have? A nice looking and fast 912-6... that appears to have a LWB conversion done to it. Oh, and I might put it at a higher number if the interior were all '68 and nice, but without any interior images, no.

Even though there weren't pictures, I assumed a decent interior. If it's ragged or has SC doorcards, I would ding the car $5-7K.

For that price why not buy a mid year 80' and have a real car instead of a copy - cat. If they had keep the 912 body look than it would be a 912-6 hot rod but they changed it to an SC but keep the 912 badge....what the duh?
