The grey market car I was talking about earlier had the engine "resealed" 10k miles ago. What does this usually entail? I wanted to have an idea of what to look for when I get to spend some time with the car.
One thing that I found was that the seats are this wild black and white check velour material in the middle with probably vinyl on the sides. I actually like it, because there would be less sliding around. Bad part is the cloth has separated from the vinyl on the drivers seat. Is this a fixable item at the upholstery shop?
I have photos I'll try to upload from my iphn.
Looking at the photos it seems like the cloth is split as well. I guess it would have to be replaced anyway. Too bad cause that was way cool in 1974, ten years before the car was built. So any thoughts?
