Can't say the same for my Cayenne. NEVER get out of that without the keys in your hand....

My 944 does the same thing (can't lock the driver door without the key). At first, I thought it was something else I was gonna have to fix (bought the car as a project). Then, I realized that's just how it's made--a little nod from Porsche to help dummies not lock themselves out of the car.
