What to do while the engines out of the car?
My drivetrain's coming out this winter to refresh some of the transaxle synchros and pop in a new clutch. My car's an 84 with 64k miles, and the engine is bone dry right now...but...I hope to not drop the engine again for a loooooooooooong time.
Even though I have no oil leaks, I will have access...so...should I replace some of the oil seals as preventative maintenance, and if so, which ones?
(What else would you guys do with the engine out of the car?)
Please use small words as I'm not yet the 3.2 guru I hope to soon become.
