I grey up around my fathers 911, and i always loved it. i think the best part of it all, is now its mine and i love it even more. my father and i were never very close but we both love this car and the joy it can bring...

sorry on the length but thought i would share this.. as it seems fitting

A BOY AND HIS PORSCHE
Once upon a time there was a young boy, who’s father had a great love for Porsche. His father had always loved Porsche and had a few different models over the years. Naturally the Young boy developed a strong love for these expertly engineered machines from a young age, and would always imagine the day he was behind the wheel.

One day his father brought home a little brown Porsche, in need of new loving owners. The boy loved the little Porsche like no other. Cruising late at night with the top off, gazing at the dark star filled sky, a perfect moment. Nothing could be better for the boy than a cruise with pops in the little brown Porsche.

As the boy grew older, he also grew further from his father, but one mutual love for the little brown Porsche remained. While the boy was away he always wondered how little Porsche was doing, what adventures she might be on, and if he would get to see her again.
Many years later, the boy and his father started to become close once again, and found themselves living in the same state, and guess who was still with the father? Yes, the little brown Porsche!. Although she was starting show her age as well as her life’s adventures, she was still as beautiful and full of character as the last day he saw her. However, seeing her like this did bring a slight pain and disappointment to the boy. At this point the boy had almost given up on the little Porsche, and was convinced his father was going to sell. But yet, he never lost hope.

One day the boys father, after owning the car for over 15 years found the timing right to pass the key on to the boy. Confused, nervous, yet extremely excited, the boy was so very proud and happy to be the next owner of the little brown Porsche who had made him so happy as a young boy, and who continues to make him happy as a young man.
To be continued…

One day I hope to one day pass it down to the next and keep the love and respect for these fine cars alive!
