heating hubs - clean first?
Was about to heat my front hubs in order to remove the bearings and thought twice. First, having read this post, I think I will use the outside grill rather than the wife's range...
But do I need to clean them thoroughly first? I am thinking of heating a (not very) volatile but still a petroleum product over a flame...
Any thoughts?
