88 924S Engine Noise
My 924S engine get louder as it gets warmer. I have had this car for five years so I know these engines have a bit of a whine to them. But when the car is idling, it is loud. When revving the engine it almost sounds like the car is running a blower!
The belts are all new, including the cam and balance shaft belt and rollers. Water pump appears to be operating smoothly, there is no belt no slipping on the alternator. Do you think the balance shaft bearings could be making the noise?
