Shocking! An error in the Bentley manual? Say it isn't so...

For those keeping score, the bolts were changed when Porsche introduced the new generation of seats in 1985. So the SC era cars, and a few years prior to that, AND the first year of Carrera 3.2 production, used M6x16 hex head bolts. These happen to have 10mm flats on the heads and there were 4 of them. In 1985, they changed to M8x20 pan head screws that needed a hex key wrench to remove. And, there were now 6 of them per seat.

All of them are low profile, and of good quality, in case you ever were tempted to replace them with crap from a hardware store. Bolts with taller heads won't allow the seat to slide all the way.
