1988 Carrera with 41K miles
Looked at a car this weekend and I'm really on the fence about this one, so I thought I'd see what you guys say. It's a 1988 Carrera 911 with 41,000 original miles (supported by CarFax). Original black paint with original black interior, both look good with little wear. No rust. A previous owner modified the car though - 993 Turbo brakes, full coil-over suspension, and the engine was torn down by a reputable builder and rebuilt as a 3.3L turbo with the G50 transmission, Carrera intake manifolds, IC, and EFI with a stand alone engine management system. There's not too much bad about the car except it's a narrow body with a big turbo tea tray wing to fit the IC, the engine is leaking a lot of oil, and the clutch is shot.
What do you think a turbo conversion like this is worth?
