Yesterday, I took mine to Home Depot and put 4 sheets of plywood inside, along with 10 1x4x12' lengths of poplar. It all fit inside. Right now, it's loaded up with a bunch of cardboard to take to the dump.

I'd own a US van before buying a Westfalia. The older ones with the rear engine scare me big time as death traps. Had a college buddy get hurt bad in one of them in Spain. The upside of a trailer is that I can pull with the 4x4 SUV, park it on flat terrain and still go into the steeper territory with the 4x4.
