356A wheels on a 911?

i was looking at some car ads the other day and stumbled on this bmw 2002 (no connection). turns out the wheels are from a 356A porsche, by using (5x205) adapters, and (10mm) spacers to clear the brake calipers.

Excellent Red 1976 BMW 2002 - City of Toronto Collector Cars For Sale - Kijiji City of Toronto Canada.

i did some searching and found some more info and pics.

The wheels are Porsche 356A steelies, widened to 15x7.5 ET20 (front) and 15x8 ET18 (rear). a 10mm spacer was used to clear the (upgraded) front brake calipers, effectively making the front offset 10 mm. Front tires are 195/50-15 and rears are 205/50-15.

- the porsche 911 bolt pattern is 5x130 and the 356A is 5x205. adapters going from 5x205 to 5x130 are pretty common, but the reverse are pretty rare. i found only 2 sources:

the bmw uses these custom ones from the usa...

Old Skool VulcanWerks - Wheel Adapters

also found some generic ones in holland...

looks pretty sharp. just wondering if anyone has tried this with a 911? any thoughts about fitment, handling, etc? thx
