Cool Headlights

Why not just use the low beam wire to the fuse box as the trigger wire for the low beam relay and the high beam wire to the fuse box for the trigger wire for the high beam relay? That way, all the hard wiring work is practically done for you. The low beam and high beam wires will only pull a small amount of amperage thru the switch (which is what you are trying to accomplish) and you can pull the high load power leads directly off the + side of the battery! Plus, you can then run the "new" power wire back to the low or high beam fuse to get the power back to the headlights and still have the circuit protected.

Good Luck!
