First, did your headlights work properly before you started? If so, do you have a schematic that labels the fuses and their function? Again, if so, just connect the relays through the fuses labeled "high" and "low" beam; you could ignore wire colors, they may be different on your car, but for reference on my '78 high beams use a white wire and low beams a yellow. If you don't know which fuse is which, you could run a test lead from the battery positive and touch it to the fuse connectors to determine which ones are for the high and low beams (they're fused separately) at the head lights (be a little careful if you do this not to touch the wrong thing!). Fred Cook's description of how to make the connections is good, you just have to determine which fuses to use.
