Cometic MLS is an excellent solution over OEM.
"Techno Duck is on point"
Milling and squaring is really needed with Aluminum Alloy heads once removed.
Scotch brite brown engine block mating surface and use acetone to wipe to dry ( pre-installation).
I went with Cometic MLS 0.43 and Permatex Copper Seal spray.
Used a Craftsman digital torque wrench and followed OEM Torque procedures. ***Works best***.
Turbo 8v and NA 16v heads see similar temps.... Hope this helps a bit.
