The scammers are at it here too ...

Someone got ahold of my credit card number in November. They ordered a chainsaw and gave a shipping address in Columbus, Ohio. The seller didn't ship it because the billing and shipping addresses didn't match. I gave Visa the address and heard nothing else about it. At about the same time someone (the same person?) ordered another chain saw, but the transaction didn't get as far as giving a shipping address. A third transaction was made to something called, "RollerPak." I went through the routine - suspended account, new card issued, yadda yadda.
The RollerPak people disputed the chargeback. Visa sent me the rebuttal and it had the address the item was shipped to and the name of the guy who ordered it!

Cool, right? We'll catch somebody...

Visa isn't interested. In fact, they said I had to reply to the rebuttal by the 10th of this month (Monday, three days from now) or they're going to put the charge back on my card. The vendor has had two months to respond, and I get three days. So whose side is Visa on? They do not care enough to even put the buyer's name or address in a database to keep track of the crooks.
I sent them this.
