It would interesting to see how they make some of the decisions on what to allow.
I am the treasurer for our local PCA region. We have a new member appreciation party at a local pizza joint every year. The Pizza joint will not take a club check so I whipped out my card. I charged 800 bucks for pizza and they did not blink. I bought a BUNCH of parts from Pelican for my engine rebuild. No problem.
Now they will text me if they see a suspicious charge. I can verify or deny it right away.
I do know that the one time my debit card number was stolen I was not stuck. The local police figured out it was an employee at a local restaurant. There was a line of people getting new cards at the credit union. They took that employee to jail.
