There are a lot of variables that would affect price, but with the limited information I would think $15-20k is a fair range. Toward the top if verifiable low mileage (~100k) and an interesting factory color, toward the bottom if more common, repainted in a different color, and higher mileage or unknown.

Probably less that $15k, and maybe closer to what Matt suggests, if it is a full on 1980s refit (wheels, tail, flares, funky gauges, repaint to red) of questionable quality.
Though this car is not an apples-to-apples comparison, and has the additional downside of being a targa chopped to a cabriolet, it shows the challenge with "updates":
It is a 1975 targa with a pretty thorough 993 cab conversion, a repaint, and a very recent 3.2 engine rebuild from a respected shop, and a new clutch. But it has been stuck on craigslist for months at $18900, probably meaning he is getting no legit offers at $17.5k.
