There is a non-sunroof coupe for sale on eBay with "no reserve" -- with the auction ending tonight.
There is a catch, though -- it is currently painted purple, and is being sold only with a "bill of sale". Engine runs, but needs to work to drive.

I know the title issue almost certainly makes this a "parts car" or a track project.
But given the demand for the previous Olive Green car flipped here, the fact this is a NSR coupe, and it appears to come with sport seats (if you pay extra) it raises a question -- what is the point of inflection where impact bumper cars warrant restoration?
I'm not talking 3.0 Carreras or Club Sports -- but just conventional models whose options/colors give them enough price premium -- in the $30k+ where (if bought cheaply enough) it becomes at least a "break even" proposition to strip, repaint, and rebuild a needy car like this.
Not a concours restoration -- but a good quality, $20-30k DIY variety for person with a workshop, skills, and spare time.
Again, not saying this is a car worth going that way with -- but if it weren't for the title, it might be close.
