Yup - 90 amp. The two alts are different, as GB stated. I also believe the pulley grooves are different... However, a late alt bracket should bolt up to an early block.
Bearings are a straightforward change over, as is the reg. if your slip rings are good and resistance checks out, bearings and reg will keep your alt going forever.
Ring to ring: 2.6 spec
Ring to shaft: infinite ohms
