Great job on the console and update! More great work. How did you move the e brake? Did you lengthen the cable and add new base mounts to the chassis?
I had the idea for a long time of building a much bigger tunnel in to an old 911 and welding it in to the chassis to stiffen things up. Kind of like a big backbone. I haven't done any research, but if designed right I bet it would improve stiffness tremendously, I suspect.
