After looking at a 996 yesterday, my pipe dream of DDing one was squashed by my more reasoned better 1/2. I have had my eye on a Cayenne for a while but now I see the facelifted 08's (there were no 07's apparently) are coming for sale with the 8 cyl S models going for mid 20s.

I know there have been some 955 owners here over the years....thoughts? What to look for,etc? This would be a general everyday car...haul dogs, kids, bikes and wwith a V8 in case i don't sell my track car and feel.like towing it somewhere.
