My first thought was same as has already been posted. There is also a console and linkage point behind the intake.
Tunnel rod - pivoting link on trans - rod up to engine - small link on engine - rod up to throttle body.
Location varies by year but the 3.2s should have at least two throttle return springs. One clearly visible on the throttle body and one in a couple of locations under the intake manifold.
