Finally had a car break on the road that I couldn't get home.
Top out son and I cruising down the highway 60mph and it dies.
I replaced the DME relay, but no goodness.
Have already search and am making the jumpers to start testing. After reading up on the problem, I remember getting a whiff of electrical burning while driving. I thought it was a truck in front of us (might just have been my imagination).
I will update my findings as I go.
Good news the rebuilt engine is using about 1qt of oil per 1K miles, and drives better than it ever has with new Continental tires.
