In progress installing a Blaupunkt Toronto 420 BT radio, I was hoping to get feedback on a few questions.
FYI - 1988 Carrera Coupe W/O Audio Pack.
- Has anyone had any interference issues with the stud on the rear of the radio? Mine is fouling on the spot welded bracket right behind the radio, I was planing on trimming the stud with a dremel.
- Is the DIN cage sufficient to mount the radio, has anyone used the stud in addition to the DIN cage to reduce squeaks and rattles?
- Any suggestions where to tap for the illumination input?
