I used to run those sizes on 7+8, and now run them on 8+9 inch wheels. In my opinion they are much better on the wider rim.

what6 was the improvement on the wider rim? thank for the catch on the rears. RA1's hhave that same guidelines, but R888's are what I will have available to me down the road.
