I swear by it for getting lifters unstuck in an engine that may have sludge or sat for a while. Half a quart, warm up the engine and rev it at 3k rpm - Tick tick tick tick tappedi tick tick ---> MMO ---> crickets ---> change oil, done!
I never burnt it with the gas. I think there it may be more of a snake oil ...
