After having the pod off 3x I am now done trying to fix the OEM speedo/ODO. It worked for a while then nothing. Speedhut will make a customizable unit that fits our cars. You can personalize the unit on there website with top MPH, script type, face color, etc. You can even put "928"on there if you like. I ordered mine similar to the one below and had them delete there factory logo and put the "MPH" just above center like it is on our cars. It even performs 0-60 & 1/4 mile times and it all is run by GPS. If your not in a hurry, should be installing the gauge this week and can take some more pics.
