Start with the simple things first. Is it possible the engine is over filled with oil. Let it really warm up and if at all possible take it for a 20 minute drive. Then park it on level ground and pull the dip stick. Also check the oil indicator needle on the dash. If that checks out....you say the car sat for 3 years not great for any seals as they have a tendency to schrink and leak. Check the valve cover seals and steering pump seals. They will leak down to the heat exchangers and cause the exhaust to smoke on the outside of them.

Its very possible you need new guides if the car still has bluish smoke out the tail pipe.
