Hi,
I bought a complete 67 911 motor awhile back with plans to rebuild it into a race engine for a car that I have. I've since moved on to a different race car project and I am thinking about selling the motor. It appears 100% complete and turns over easily but I assume it will need a complete rebuild.
It's a 901/06 motor, engine number 911160
Thoughts on how to price this? Since I bought it, all things SWB and "sand cast" have gone up significantly but I'm unsure how much that translates from small parts to "big" parts" such as an entire engine.
Please disregard any consideration of what it's worth to the owner of the matching car. I have searched and found nothing on this front and in my mind, it wouldn't change the market value much if at all.
