That may well describe me. I haven't owned a SWB in almost 7 years. Lucky for me that I bought and enjoyed my 67 911S+ way before they became stupid expensive and parts were relatively easy to come by.
As for the ad you posted for a stock 2.0L 911 sand cast motor with an ask price of $38k, that price seems absurd. 5 years ago you would have paid that for a real RS motor complete with MFI.
