Yeah less then stock is definitely not true, A 2.7 liter S with original heat reactors and the like is not that desirable of a car.
If it was a genuine 3.0 Carrera engine and car like Scott's but with period correct sport seats in it I could see it going for 30K. It would be certainly be a fun car to drive.
