May have something to do with OCD...
With the lift it a 3 hours job so its much easier to do the valve adjustment, spark plug change and the never ending cleaning up (OCD).
This is the last project that I'm starting this year, I got another 6 on the go (post 2-6 of http://forums.pelicanparts.com/canada/842715-14-15-winter-project.html + the full pedal Rennline kit.
As for the transmission it use to look like this (post 2 of http://forums.pelicanparts.com/cleaning-detailing-polishing/550748-best-cleaner-bar-none.html)
