Hey Steve, by coincidence, we lived in Vancouver for five years in the late '60's where we had both the XK120 and the Spitfire. I both worked and vacationed in the Okanagam. The XK was a delight up those long mountain roads especially with the top down. The Spitfire on the other hand came to its own so to speak on the downhill twisties.
Backdating your '87 would be a great project. I would be more than happy to share all that I have learned during this journey.
