Absolutely right. I'm not surprised though. It seems everything on the road today is turbo charged. I remember when the word Turbo was used it meant one thing, Porsche 930.
Heck even my X3 has a twin scroll turbo. The only good thing about FI is that increasing HP is fairly easy and relatively inexpensive; just need a tune and increase the boost and maybe add an exhaust. Anything we do to substantially increase the HP in our SC's or 993's is very expensive and involves headers, cams or re-gearing.
I wonder how they plan to market and name what's currently the 911 Turbo; or will it just disappear from the lineup?
