With coilovers, you can machine up a spacer much more easily since they come with top spring hats. I would use a rear monoball (Rennline version accommodates the early bolt pattern) which acts like ~1" spacer. Then machine a real spacer between the monoball plate and the body to make up the rest of the distance.
Cup shocks & JIC springs, track car only I assume?
