Thank you for taking the time to post the pic. I think that your pic must be of an earlier year than my '86 as my pedal base in different in that the bracket is separate. By chance I went through the Bentley manual and found this pic from which I can probably get more or less the right proportions for the L-bracket.



However, my pedal cluster does not have any holes for its fitment, the backside of the floor board does not have any evidence of holes, and the tunnel portion of the wreck is so crumpled that I can't find any holes there either. So I'm still at a loss.
By the way, the Bentley manual describes the switch as a "clutch switch" whereas I believe that it's supposed to placed to operate with the brake pedal. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
