Help needed for SC valuation

Hello all,

Allow me to begin by stating how wrong it feels to post this, even though it's not technically for sale. This car has been in my family for as long I've been on this Earth, so my heart says absolutely no way in Hell am I letting it go, but financially it makes a lot of sense. I'm truly torn. Mind vs heart. OK, some background:

Keep in mind, I made sure everything done to the car was reversible except for some of the interior removal like the headliner and part of the carpets. Everything I have removed, I kept. The car was completely 100% stock when I took possession of it.

It is a 1980. I am the third owner as of one year ago. The first owner had it until 1986 when it was then purchased by my uncle and driven ~40k miles over ten years. The car has a 160mph speedo changed out from the factory 85mph one. It currently reads just under 92k and does not seem to work. When my uncle purchased the car in 1986 the speedo read ~50k. There is no further history on the mileage other than what I've stated. Also, other than some tire and oil change receipts from the 80s and 90s, I have no maintenance records on the car. My uncle was a mechanical engineer by trade and performed a lot of the maintenance himself, including valve adjustments and a clutch job.

The car sat, undriven, in a climate controlled garage in Atlanta, GA from 1996-2014. In saying that, the garage did get damp, and the inside had spotting of yellow mold on most of the leather surfaces. The interior certainly wasn't perfect, as the dash leather was separated and rear seat bottoms crusty. I kept and cleaned all of the salvageable interior items. The door trim and rear quarters are in excellent shape. The upside is that I know for a fact that the bare surface of the interior is free of any corrosion. The seats were kept separate from the car and are now gone.

There is zero rust on the car.

It is a paint-to-sample.

The clutch was done about 1000 miles ago (back in the mid-90s).

It has the green factory Bilsteins.

Has the original owner's manual, air compressor, tool kit, and Bilstein jack.

It had a Momo Porsche Design steering wheel, but needed recovering, so I installed a Nardi wheel that I had from my last car. Still have the Momo wheel.

I removed all A/C components (compressor was already uninstalled).

I removed all sunroof components (the seals needed replacement).

The HVAC plumbing and controls have been removed for inspection.

I removed the original Blaupunkt head unit.

The heater hoses in the engine bay have been removed as some of them deteriorated.

I removed some outside body trim (rubber bumpers, side skirts, fog lights, etc.) in search for rust, but found none. As you can tell I'm paranoid of rust; I wanted to make sure this car was solid when I bought it.

There is a dent in the driver’s side rear footwell area, behind the driver seat, where a nimrod jacked the car up improperly.

It appears as if the paint has been touched up on some places like the doors and rear quarters. Some parts are noticeably shinier than others. The hood and headlight rings' paint was oxidizing, so I put a coat of plasticoat on them. For those not familiar, it's a spray-on paint that easily peels off.

I have the original 7s and 6s Fuchs in good condition. I found a cool set of 911 spec fitment Ronals (8s and 7s) locally and purchased some new BFG Sport Comp 2 tires to go with them.

I knew going into this purchase that the fuel system would need attention. I removed the gas tank and had it cleaned. The fuel pump, fuel accumulator, and fuel filter were replaced. The injectors were professionally sonically cleaned. The fuel system as a whole was in great shape except for injector #5 which was initially completely clogged.

The engine was first turned over by hand after soaking the cylinders in MMO for a few days. It turned very easily, no friction. I performed a compression test on all cylinders and found the following:

#1= 180psi / #2= 170psi / #3= 173psi / #4=175psi / #5= 170psi / #6=173psi

The oil has been changed twice already as well as the gear oil. The brake lines have been bled and replaced with stainless steel units. No leaks.

I replaced the plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, air filter, air box straps, steering wheel bushing, battery (DieHard AGM), and alternator belt.

All of the work has been done by yours truly as I've worked as a mechanic in the past. The car runs excellently with a smooth idle and no hiccups. It revs freely up to its redline with no hesitation and shifts with no hint of grinding. No discernible smoke from the tail pipe. It appears to truly relish its time out of hibernation. I've already taken it on spirited drives up in the north GA mountains, and that says a lot for how comfortable I am with its reliability. After a long drive I'll park it in my garage and check for oil leaks the next morning, and not a drop has hit the ground which I'm frankly surprised about. I have two Sparco Sprint seats for the car now which are both in mint condition (passenger is out right now). The car has a clean title and is also registered here in GA. This car looks absolutely stunning. I did have plans for it as a lightweight street/DE/autox build and was going to tie up some ends such as a new carpet kit and patch the sunroof, but I'm not sure I truly want to go down this road. There are currently other things in my life that I'm wanting to spend my money on than Porsche ownership. But of course that thought changes every time I go visit her in the garage.

Please let me know a fair valuation for the car as it sits. Thank you guys.
