944's might seem a cheap sports car and you think you look all that, but you better have a decent reserve of funds available, or be able to do plenty of your own wrenching, otherwise your up the creek when something inevitably will need fixing.

This is why 944's are still somewhat low in value, people beat the piss outta them, never fix anything because the cost to fix whatever is wrong with their 944 cost more than the car is worth, and don't have the spare $$$$ lying around to fix it.

Poor 944 resale value is what we get. At least my 951 will hold its value as more and more sub $2000 944 finally bite the dust and get crushed/stripped for parts.
