I think those figures quoted by Shelby are wildly optimistic. R&T tested one of the official Shelby 427s that were made in the 90's with the leftover chassis and it was nowhere near as fast as this. IIRC it did 0-100-0 in about 16 seconds or so. Maybe Shelby used slicks for the runs or maybe he just made the figure up...
