While on the subject, in a thread from a few months ago

She took him back, kept him, worked with him tirelessly, and he is now a relatively sane and incredibly beautiful dog. There were bumps along the road. He ATE his way out of a wire dog crate, but she didn't give up on him. My DIL is a genius at knowing what difficult dogs need and giving it to them.
