$1500 CAD is $1177 USD, and $1200 CAD is $942 USD.
I would guess at least several hundred for the bodywork, not counting paint. With a salvage title and everything...eh, I'd probably offer half of what they're asking. I recently paid $600 USD for an auto 1983 with 77k miles, clear title, good running engine, and failing transmission.
